Track & Field Registration Begins TODAY

Hello Burton 4-8th Grade Families, 

We have an exciting athletic opportunity for your 4th-8th grade Students. Our Burton School District Track & Field Program will allow students to compete and develop their athletic ability with our experienced coaching staff. Our Track & Field Program will offer 14 different events to compete in, including running events, relay’s, jumping, throwing and more. The Burton School District will provide transportation for your student from their campus to Burton Middle School for practice at your request. Parents will be responsible for picking students up at Burton Middle School at the end of the practice. For more information regarding dates and times, please check out the attached flyers. If you would like your student to attend, you MUST click the attached link or scan the QR code on the flier to register for the season. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis, however we do have many spots available. Registration will only be open for two weeks from January 20th and closes on January 30th. Students who register for the team will be contacted by a member of our Burton ELOP Athletic staff prior to the first practice starting with additional information, including transportation, practice times and more. Once your student is officially signed up and selected to the team you will be added to a Parent Square Group to receive communication and reminders throughout the season. If your student is participating in another sport and wants to compete in track & field once the season starts it is important they get registered within the registration period. We look forward to seeing your child there! 

 

What: Burton Track & Field Program for 6th-8th grade students 

When: 6th-8th First Practice: Tuesday, February 10th (Athletes meet on blacktop behind BMS GYM)

    Practice: 4:00pm-5:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) No Wednesday Practice

What: Burton Track & Field Program for 4th & 5th grade students 

When: 4th & 5th First Practice: Tuesday, March 10th (Athletes meet on blacktop behind BMS GYM)

    Practice: 4:00pm-5:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) No Wednesday Practice

Where: Burton Middle School

Transportation: Bus transportation provided by the district from our site to BMS (You will need to reach out to the ELOP Office to be added to the list)

Coaches: Burton School District will have 8-10 experienced Track & Field Coaches.

Who: All 4th-8th grade students can sign up! By registering, you are holding a spot. Registration will only be open from January 20th - January 20th.
